Coach Adam Chats about Heart Rate

Hola, Amigos!  Coach Adam leads us in a conference call all about how to use your heart rate monitor to improve your performance.  If you're looking for a performance boost and don't use a monitor, you aren't giving yourself the best opportunity.

When I picked my last monitor, my first requirement was a solid band.  Break the band and the watch is useless.  Next, I went for one that records workouts for later review.  I load my workouts into workoutlog.com much later than when they happen, so this function is priceless.  Lastly, I use the interval function for swimming workouts.  The best deal I could find on a watch with all those requirements was the Nike Triax C8.  Not bad, but it doesn't record your max heart rate during a workout.  No max?  WTF?  Of course, the holy grail of workout watches is the Garmin 305.  I bet you already knew that.
