I Need Help!
Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at 7:57PM I now remember what was wrong with this template - page errors when jumping to certain links (Like the "Support Zentri" one at the top). I found some vague instructions on how to fix it, tried, and failed.
Can a coding wizard check it out and give suggestions? Here is the link to what is wrong. Below is the offending section of code. Whoever helps me fix it will get a HUGE shout out on the show! I've tried several variations of that suggestion and I'm stuck. Post short answers in the comments or send your code suggestions to texafornia at the gmails.

hey man,
you simply need to change line 81 of page.php to read, "" rather than ""
It looks like this template could use some more cleaning up though, it's throwing the body tag well within the content rather than before it. I'll take a look at that more later. For now I'm going to go finish my beer(s). Hit me up on twitter if that php syntax error is still giving you a problem after removing the "}".
ah hell, should have known that wouldn't show up. I hit you up on twitter with it. So, you can get the fix there then post it back here for reader reference. I've got some friends over and they're shouting at me to get off this thing.. peace!
oh, and man.. that math challenge to post this thing is ridiculous challenging.. 9+3?..

Ok after some quick poking here are some symptoms:
Look for any links to active content on this site - http://www.zentriathlon.com/blog/?page_id=245
ones referenced with p= or m= as the arguments seem to be going ok. Links to targets off the site seem to be ok as well.
If you visit the link above you'll get a thrown error barking about an bastard (evil evil bastard) curly brace on line 81 in page.php contained in the Slate 1.0 theme.
Brett try some of the following:
- Try commenting (add the 2 slashes) that line out all together in page.php ( // )
- Move it down past the get_footer() call in page.php
Something "else" has already closed that block of code and PHP is freaking out about. Although fooling with that errant brace might break other things so when you try click all over the especially links back to your content.
If i can get a few minutes this evening I'll fire the theme up myself and see where it's being a pain in an environment I can wreck.
