Upcoming Test - Carbo-Pro vs. Perpetuem

I went all crazy on the ultra-webs yesterday and ordered Carbo-Pro to start testing it out as a training/racing fuel.  It's pretty much maltodextrin and nothing else, which has a lot of fans.  I have a lot of mediocre days mixed in with my great days, so trying different fuels is always a smart bet to see if that's the issue.

I've been using Perpetuem for a while.  It has fat and other stuff in it, which gives a lot of people mixed results.  I'm hoping to see more sustained power on long bike rides; that's where I get lethargic.

I was going to send you that link to carbo-pro bc you were talking about testing it out. Glad to see you got the best deal.

Any update here?

I'm loving it. The stuff absorbs into my system so well, it's like the more I drink, the more power I get. I can get more energy in me than before without worrying about upset stomach. There will be lots more about it on the next podcast.
