Podcast - Happy New Year!

Click Here to Listen to the Show!

This episode is two hours of The Training Log!  I cover all kinds of training tips and tricks, how to do your best over the Holidays, how to recover from a major calf injury, and so much more.

I am writing this post at the kitchen table of ZenTri Base Camp!  The house is incredible!  It's only a few blocks from the San Diego beach and the weather is fantastic. (70 degrees and sunny.)  We will be opening up registration for next year earlier this time, so follow me on Twitter for more details.

Enjoy!

Another great show! I always enjoy your enthusiasm and hearing about the epic things you and your guests do. I always learn something useful.

Since you are trying to go plant based again, perhaps you could interview (and get some tips from) Matt Frazier http://www.nomeatathlete.com/ and he just interviewed Brendan Brazier of Thrive fame, who has cookbooks and now even a meal delivery service and is a great guest, too. Another guest idea is Dr. Pam Popper of http://www.wellnessforum.com/meetpam.html who is a plant based diet advocate and an endurance athlete. You can see her on "Forks Over Knives" which is on Netflix. I am borderline (98%) vegan and have transformed myself over the last couple years. There is no question you can get enough calories and protein to train hard, even at your level, but you might need a little direction given how over the top your training is!
