Friday Tri News and Notes (And Post Yours, Too!)

Cool trail running video - Xterra Marquette 2013

Pretty cool that the camera is on a bike, so it's smoothed out instead of bouncy.  Be patient and you'll get to see him trip a few times, and eventually fall down.  Classic trail running!

100 mile triathlon introduced in Kansas. (2 mi./80 mi./18 mi.)  Sounds like a nice challenge.

New Year's Eve Tri News and Notes

Looks like this guy got a bar stuck in his fork:

I learned a trick from the comments in the video - you can hit the seven button on your keyboard and the video will skip to seven seconds in.  And if you hit the seven button repeatedly, then you're a terrible person. Amazing that nobody else wrecked and also how high his bike flew in the air.

Big Garmin firmware update for the 510, 810, 1000.  Lots of little adjustments and better syncing as well.
