I have a very dumb, basic technical question.

I just bought an iPod Shuffle so I am not locked in front of my computer each time I want to listen to a podcast. I have downloaded podcasts via the iTunes store and loaded music from my CDs successfully.

However, I am unable to master taking your great podcasts and downloading/saving them so I can put load them on my iPod. Each time I try I just end up opening another MS IE Window with the play/volume control that does not seem to want to work.

Could you give me some help in this area?

thanks for listening! make sure you subscribe by iTunes and then make a smart playlist that contains the genre "podcast". Tell your shuffle that you want to synch that playlist. I don't have an apple device, so I'm just guessing here. Anybody else?

I use the shuffle as well.

As mentioned above you can't go wrong by using Itunes. Its a free download if you don't already have it. Use the ITunes music store to find the Zen podcasts then subscribe. That way you get every new episode. When your shuffle is plugged into the computer it will show up on the sidebar of ITunes....just drag and drop and the Podcasts you want on the unit.
