The Mad Cyclist

Sup, Tri-studs? I put out this video to appease those in need of some Zentri. Editing the audio from this weekend's race is taking much longer than expected, so I thought I'd give you something easier to produce while you wait. It's a combo of two different takes and my first ever effort at video editing, so keep that in mind. Enjoy!

By the way, we've launched www.triscoop.com in beta form and you're invited to check it out. You can use the forum, post shout-outs, vote on the TDF poll, submit news and articles, and soon... something REALLY cool. This will eventually be the home base of this podcast and I can't wait! This will be the only tri-website with a supporting podcast where we talk about what people are posting. Go ahead and skip posting on the frapper forum or the forum on blankner.com and use this one instead. Of course, blog readers are the first to find out and we'll keep it that way until you beta-testers give the site a good workout.

That's a hot new site you got there! Are you going to change the name of the podcast?

what format is the vid? could not get it to work

Not thinking of changing the show name yet... We just wanted to provide the best platform for trying something new. Our goal is to have a podcast and website tie-in to drive content for both, making the whole even better than the sum of the parts. User-driven content will inspire the podcast and vice-versa, much in the same vein as diggnation or slashdot. Go ahead and register and post news, articles, vote on the poll, or give a shout-out and get this baby rollin'!

Whoa...thanks for the heads up. I was about to put one of those in my mouth tonight. Looked fun! You should be finished by early 2009...

Can't...type...neck strained from...following...Emily's camera...work.

Was she standing on an exercise ball while she was holding the camera or something?

Imagine if she paints the frame! Better get an extra can of paint. Or three.

Mouth thing was damn funny. Still snickering. Same with the random insult generator BTW...

How cool is that!? Paint stripping AND safety tips all rolled up in a single video podcast. Sweet!
The new site is very cool BTW.

I second what Jason said about the camera operator. Good thing Emily is a nurse :P

Brett - You've mentioned your email on the show before but I can't seem to locate it on the site. Do you have an email address for the show?

February 9, 2006 | Unregistered Commenter'The Rooster'

it's texafornia at gmail.com. Yeah, and I'm always ragging on Emily for watching shows that do stupid and uneccessary camera jiggling. Law and Order is a good example.
