Random Swimming Thought

Swimming is destiny.

First you won't be able to run anymore,  Then you won't be able to bike.

All that's left is floating in the ether like an amoeba when you're eighty-eight.

Better start practicing now.  Especially the yelling at people to get out of your lane part.  That will be the best.  :)

Running is the punishment for all sports
Swimming is the rehab.

What if it were possible to run effortlessly and injury-free for the rest of your life? Running was very hard on me until about four years ago when I was introduced to ChiRunning. Injury-free with minimal recovery ever since. Plus I am faster now. Plus I went from struggling to run 5 miles to running ultra marathons.

IMO, running does not need to be hard on the body; and it does not need to be punishment - but it is possible that the way we run can be very hard on the body. Some simple principles of nature combined with the body's design can make a big difference.
