ZenTri Podcast - How to Train with the Polarized Method

 

This episode is a recording of my talk to the local triathlon club about how to train.  I go over the Polarized training method, giving details on how to do it right.  

I cover everything you need to know, including:

 

  • How to find your bottleneck.
  • How long to go hard.
  • Correct spacing and timing of intervals.
  • Advice from some of the world's fastest athletes.

Great podcast, i am passing it along to all my tri friends. I have been using this plan for my training over the past few months and I have seen dramatic improvements in my speed. I have even seen it bleed into my slow endurance training with running 1.5-2 minutes faster per mile at the same easy intensity and maffetone HR.
