Patience and Base

Just lay back and chill...

Thanks man, great show. Patience is such an interesting topic. I'm not a patient person by nature, so I need to fake it. Humor helps a lot in this. More about that in my new blog http://zennovations.blogspot.com/

Listening to the pocast. I am going to try to add pushups to my runs. My wife and I are very new to the entire running thing.
I think you mentioned training on a fixed gear on shorter rides. That's a great idea. I usually ride an old specialized and tow my 2 and 5 year olds. I only pull the road bike out for organized rides or when riding with someone else. My buddies train on their road bikes. They still can't understand why they can't keep up when we ride together.

Love the podcast. Keep up the good work.

Hey Brett. Love the shows! I was looking for the seat post that you mentioned a few shows ago, the one that give road bike more of a triathlon geometry...anyway you could email me a link to that companies website? Thanks man, keep up the awesome shows, love the zen stuff...more please...

I've listened to this episode yesterday whyle running. Those cars passing by are scary. For the moment I just run and swim. If I had to bike I would probably think of going offroad with a mtb. Being touched by a car on the road actually scares me. Staying on this topic: have you ever tried an XTERRA tri?
Best wishes for you IRONMAN training: awesome you and other athletes manage to finish it! Wish I could someday but, as you said, you must have a lot of patience, which also means time... Keep it up! Ciao!
