Nutrition and Ragnar Relay Part 2

Here's part two of the audio from the Ragnar Relay. It's a montage of random bits; some pretty funny stuff.

I also talk for a while about Nutrition. I'm using a capital N because it's that important, people!

Correction - I've been saying the band's name of the music I'm playing is "Switch Fork". That is incorrect. They are "Straight Fork" and you can find them at http://music.podshow.com.

SHOWNOTES!

  • My nutrition tips - Mix of the Paleo diet, South Beach diet, and Low Glycemic Load diet.

  • Spread out your eating. "Meals" are a product of the Industrial Revolution.

  • Carb loading is stupid.

  • Fat is not bad. It lubes and protects your joints.

  • Send me a voicemail (512-CRY-DELI) with your dirtiest story and I'll send you some Action Wipes!

  • Was just interviewed on the RunRunLive podcast.

Congrats for finishing Ragnar. Your latest podcast was one of the best shows ever. 20% important food tips and 80% fun live racing audio; that's the magic formula for success, works like cough syrup and red bull (just kidding). And thanks for the plug! BTW I added this site to my blogroll.

Hey, you write really well for a caveman!

I drop in on your site to check up on how you're doing. Keep it up. Maybe we should put you on Zentri for an interview!

Thanks Texafornia, but we cavemen don't do live interviews really. With my Finnish accent I'd probably sound like Arnold off steroids! I'd be happy to reply any questions you may have via email though.

Another great episode. The audio to you need to make the loud sounds soft and the soft sounds loud:

Your favorite editing software might already have it, and most likely offers presets so you don't have to spend a bunch of time learning audio-engineering terminology.

GREAT Show! Love running/biking to the podcast. I'd like to also mention The Abs Diet to the nutrition mix. It's a wonderful method/lifestyle. It was written by David Zinczenko of Men's Health. It really does the trick! I personally lost 20 or so lbs in about two months, and have kept it off for nearly a year now! (The six pack is there as well!!!) Keep up the great podcast!

Good show Brett. Keep doing those steep grades like that and we'll get you out on Pikes Peak yet.

Check out this podcast, and remember that oversimplification can be a big issue when talking about health.
